But in the past, I usually walked past it without a glance. Later on when I grew up, a question popped up: What compounds are hidden inside, and what properties might they hold?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That question eventually led me to research cajeput essential oil. Through the process, I learned not only about its chemical composition, but also how scientific research begins &#8211; with asking the right questions, carefully selecting samples, and designing Unlike my previous scientific research, this project took me outside the laboratory: I helped collect real-world responses, work with quantitative data, and analyze patterns in people\u2019s purchasing decisions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It taught me that research does not always begin with an experiment or end with a chemical compound; sometimes, it means listening to people, turning their responses into data, and letting the numbers reveal a story.
